This seven-day line extending from the Bosphorus to the fairy chimneys combines Turkey's most intense history and scenery corridor in a single route. Each stop below is linked to the map.
The first three days are reserved for Istanbul: the historical peninsula, Bosphorus line, and Islands. On the fourth day, you transition to Central Anatolia by high-speed train or domestic flight; the remaining days are shaped by Cappadocia's valleys, underground cities, and sunrise points.
Day 1–3 · Istanbul
Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, and Basilica Cistern are within walking distance; all three fit in one morning. Topkapi and Grand Bazaar are recommended for the second day, and Kadikoy and Islands by ferry for the third day.
Day 4 · Transition
Early morning transition to Central Anatolia. Arrival in Nevsehir in the afternoon leaves time for the first valley walk.
Day 5–7 · Cappadocia
Goreme open-air museum, Derinkuyu underground city, and Ihlara Valley fill three days. Watching the sunrise from Kizilcukur and sunset from Uchisar castle completes the route.
